CVE-2025-21440

Kernel memory corruption via board-data write IOCTL

Published Apr 7, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN drivers allows local users to corrupt kernel memory through a board-data write IOCTL. The driver writes board data supplied by user space beyond the intended buffer when processing the IOCTL. Successful exploitation compromises data confidentiality and integrity and interrupts the device; local low-privileged access to the driver interface is required.
