Authentication bypass in Microsoft Azure AI Face Service allows remote authenticated users to elevate privileges through identity spoofing. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected authentication locus or how crafted identity data is accepted as a more privileged principal. A valid low-privilege service context and network access are required; exploitation crosses a security boundary and grants broad access to protected operations and data.
