Code execution via DHCP client use-after-free

Use-after-free in Microsoft Windows DHCP Client Service before build 10.0.26100.3194 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The service reuses memory after freeing an object while processing DHCP traffic; Microsoft has not disclosed the object or triggering packet field. Exploitation requires user interaction, adjacent-network access, and additional preparation, while successful execution can compromise the system.
