Stored XSS via Unicode-encoded Website Address
Published Mar 9, 2025 · Updated Mar 10, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in XunRuiCMS 4.6.0 through 4.6.3 allows remote authenticated users to run script in visitors' browsers. The management interface stores a Unicode-encoded iframe JavaScript payload supplied as the Friendly Link Website Address and later renders it on the site's homepage despite ordinary XSS encoding. Administrative access to the management terminal is required, and exploitation also requires a visitor to load the affected homepage, limiting the demonstrated impact to script execution in that visitor's browser.
