Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Windows Telephony Service allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted request. Microsoft identifies a heap overwrite in the Telephony Service but has not published the affected routine or the malformed field that exceeds its allocation. Exploitation requires a user to send a request to an attacker-controlled server; successful exploitation runs code on the affected Windows system.
