Out-of-bounds write in libpadm.so on Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Oct-2025 Release 1 allows local users to corrupt memory during JPEG decoding. The JPEG header parser accepts malformed input without adequate validation and writes beyond the destination buffer during decoding. Local access is required; Samsung reports memory corruption only and does not claim code execution, disclosure, or service interruption.
