Improper access control in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Sep-2025 Release 1 allows local users to invoke privileged ImsService APIs. ImsService fails to enforce proper access control before exposing those APIs to unprivileged local callers. The attack requires local access to an affected Android 13–16 device and can disclose protected data or interrupt service without modifying data.
