CVE-2025-21026

Call interruption via mishandled ImsService permissions

Published Sep 3, 2025 · Updated Sep 3, 2025

Improper permission handling in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Sep-2025 Release 1 allows local attackers to interrupt calls. ImsService mishandles an insufficient-permission condition in unused code, but Samsung has not disclosed the affected method or input path. An unprivileged local context on Android 13 through 16 is sufficient; successful triggering interrupts an active call without reported persistence.
