Unauthenticated PHP execution via AJAX template inclusion
Published Apr 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in ThemeMove EduMall 4.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute server-side PHP via an AJAX request. The edumall_lazy_load_template AJAX action uses the untrusted template parameter as a PHP inclusion target without restricting it to approved theme templates. The action requires no authentication; direct file access is possible, while code execution requires an attacker-controlled PHP file already present on the server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
