Published May 7, 2025 · Updated May 7, 2025
Improper authorization in Samsung Mobile Devices on Android 13, 14, and 15 before SMR May-2025 Release 1 allows local users to track S Pen position. The SpenGesture service fails to enforce required access control before allowing an unprivileged local caller to monitor stylus-position data. Local users must execute code on an affected S Pen-capable device; the disclosed consequence is position-data exposure, not modification or service interruption.
