Local memory disclosure via unvalidated video content
Published Mar 6, 2025 · Updated Mar 6, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Samsung Notes before 4.4.26.71 allows local users to read process memory via crafted video content. Its video-content binary application path processes untrusted content without proper input validation and reads beyond the intended buffer. Low-privileged local access is required to deliver the content; the published assessment documents no memory write or code execution.
