CVE-2025-20908

Broadcast disclosure via insufficiently random Auracast values

Published Mar 6, 2025 · Updated Mar 6, 2025

Insufficiently random values in Auracast on Samsung Mobile Devices with Android 14 or 15 allow adjacent attackers to access broadcasts. The Auracast implementation generates broadcast-access values with inadequate randomness, allowing nearby receivers to obtain access; Samsung has not disclosed the exact value-generation locus. Exploitation requires Bluetooth-range proximity to an active Auracast broadcast, needs no authentication or user interaction, and exposes broadcast content without reported integrity or availability impact.
