Out-of-bounds write in libsthmbc.so on Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Jan-2025 Release 1 allows local users to execute privileged code. The svc1td path accesses uninitialized memory and writes beyond its intended bounds because input is not properly validated. Triggering requires user interaction on an affected Android 12, 13, or 14 device; successful exploitation runs arbitrary code with the library's privilege.
