CVE-2025-2081Network attack vector

Service interruption via hard-coded security constants

Published Mar 13, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2026

Hard-coded security constants in Optigo Networks capture tools 3.1.2rc11 allow remote attackers to impersonate the web service. The published record does not disclose the constant, validation path, or protocol operation that permits a forged service to mislead connected clients. An attacker must place the impersonating service where clients connect; exploitation can interrupt capture-tool availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
