Double free in MediaTek seninf on affected chipsets allows local users with System privilege to escalate privileges without interaction. A race condition permits the same memory allocation to be freed twice, corrupting memory; MediaTek has not disclosed the racing operations. Exploitation requires prior System privilege and local execution, and successful memory corruption grants higher execution privileges.
