Unauthenticated utility control via exposed management service
Published Mar 13, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2026
Authentication bypass in both Optigo Networks Capture Tools 3.1.2rc11 allows remote attackers to control utilities through the web service. The management service listens on HTTPS port 4000, but CISA and Optigo do not disclose the alternate path or missing authorization check. Network access to an unprotected host is required, and exploitation grants unauthorized access to or manipulation of captured BACnet traffic.
