CVE-2025-2079Network attack vector

Unauthenticated session forgery via hard-coded JWT key

Published Mar 13, 2025 · Updated Aug 26, 2026

Hard-coded JWT key exposure in Optigo capture tools 3.1.2rc11 allows remote attackers to generate valid authenticated sessions. The web management service validates JSON Web Tokens with a secret key embedded in the affected build, so attackers can mint tokens that the service accepts. Network access to that service is sufficient; forged sessions expose protected capture-tool data, while the record reports no write or service-interruption impact.
