Out-of-bounds read in MediaTek Modem NR15 and NR16 allows remote attackers to interrupt service through a rogue base station. MediaTek has not identified the parser or message involved; the modem omits a bounds check before reading attacker-influenced data. Exploitation requires a UE to connect to an attacker-controlled base station, needs no user interaction, and is limited to denial of service.
