Device crash via unchecked modem input

Out-of-bounds write in MediaTek Modem NR15 allows physically proximate attackers to crash a device through a rogue base station. Modem code fails to bounds-check attacker-controlled input received after the user equipment attaches, allowing a write outside the intended buffer. The targeted device must connect to an attacker-controlled base station; exploitation requires no privileges or user interaction and is limited to a system crash and resulting service interruption.
