Stack-based buffer overflow in MediaTek WLAN AP drivers allows local users with System privilege to escalate privileges without interaction. RTMPAPSetInformation passes attacker-controlled wrq->u.data.length to copy_from_user without limiting the copy to the 520-byte nr_list_info stack structure. The public proof of concept triggers a kernel crash; MediaTek says OceReducedNeighborReport must be disabled, while the researcher says its feature flag must equal 1.
