Heap overflow in MediaTek wlan AP driver SDK 7.6.7.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code from an adjacent network. An incorrect bounds check in the driver permits an out-of-bounds write to heap memory during WLAN AP processing; the affected routine and input field are undisclosed. Exploitation requires proximity to the wireless interface, but no authentication, prior privileges, or user interaction, and successful memory corruption grants code execution.
