Heap-based buffer overflow in MediaTek's Bluetooth driver in NB SDK 3.6 and earlier allows local users to elevate privileges. The driver applies an incorrect bounds check before writing to heap memory, allowing the write to pass the buffer boundary. Exploitation requires existing User execution privileges, but no user interaction, and grants higher local privileges on affected MediaTek chipsets.
