Unauthenticated database access via unsanitized search key
Published Mar 7, 2025 · Updated Mar 7, 2025
SQL injection in Projectworlds Life Insurance Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data via search.php. The script uses the POST key parameter directly in SQL queries without validation or parameter binding, allowing injected clauses to alter query execution. No authentication is required; demonstrated time-based and UNION payloads expose database contents and permit unauthorized database operations.
