CVE-2025-20653

Physical-access information disclosure via DA integer overflow

Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Mar 20, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in MediaTek DA on Android 13.0, 14.0, and 15.0 allows physically proximate attackers to disclose local information. The DA component uses an integer value that can overflow when determining a memory read, causing access beyond the intended buffer. Exploitation requires physical access and user interaction, needs no additional execution privileges, and is limited to information disclosure.
