Memory corruption in MediaTek Modem NR15 and NR16 allows attackers to interrupt cellular service via a rogue base station. The modem's undisclosed error-handling path incorrectly processes syntactically invalid base-station input, corrupting memory. Exploitation requires a device to connect to an attacker-controlled rogue base station; no device privileges or user interaction are required, and only availability impact is reported.
