Uncaught exception in MediaTek MT7981 and MT7986 network hardware SDK 7.6.7.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to hang systems. MediaTek identifies the locus only as network HW and has not disclosed which input or operation throws the uncaught exception. No privileges or user interaction are required; successful exploitation interrupts availability by leaving the affected device hung.
