Local privilege escalation via oversized PSK IOCTL

An out-of-bounds write in MediaTek's WLAN AP driver in SDK release 7.6.7.2 and earlier allows local users to escalate privileges. A public proof of concept submits a 4,999-byte WPA PSK through the driver's private wireless IOCTL, supplying an oversized attacker-controlled request to the vulnerable path. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access to an affected chipset and needs no user interaction; successful memory corruption grants elevated privileges.
