Physical credential theft via exposed plist
Published Feb 13, 2025 · Updated Feb 14, 2025
Sensitive-data exposure in Qardio Heart Health 2.7.4 allows physically proximate attackers to obtain development credentials. The iOS application stores usernames and passwords in a plist file, exposing credentials for production-level development accounts. Physical access to the application data is required; the credentials unlock an engineering backdoor that accepts hex commands through a UI terminal.
