Stored script execution via unescaped Bloodname output

Published Mar 6, 2025 · Updated Mar 7, 2025

Cross-site scripting in AB+.php in Code Projects Blood Bank System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a visitor's browser. AB+.php reads the Bloodname field from a database row and echoes it into the response without output encoding or filtering. A user must first store a crafted Bloodname value, and exploitation then requires another user, potentially an administrator, to view the affected page.
