Improper access control in Splunk Secure Gateway on affected Splunk deployments allows remote authenticated users to read restricted alert metadata. The mobile push path sends report or alert titles and descriptions to subscribed low-privileged accounts without enforcing the object's view permissions. Exploitation requires a registered device and push subscription, but neither the admin nor power role is required; report contents beyond that metadata are not reported as exposed.
