Client-secret disclosure via plaintext internal logging

Published Nov 26, 2025 · Updated Nov 26, 2025

Sensitive-data logging in Splunk Add-on for Palo Alto Networks before 2.0.2 allows attackers to read client secrets from internal logs. When a new Data Security Account is added, the add-on writes its client secret without redaction into events stored in the _internal index.
