Authenticated browser script execution via unsanitized Reports input
Published Oct 1, 2025 · Updated Oct 1, 2025
Stored XSS in Cisco Cyber Vision Center 5.1.0 through 5.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a victim's browser. The Reports page stores insufficiently validated user input and later renders it as active script content in the affected web interface. Valid administrative credentials with Reports-page access are required, and a user must view the injected page; execution is limited to the interface context and browser-based information.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
