Read-only Administrator configuration modification via crafted request
Published Aug 6, 2025 · Updated Aug 6, 2025
Authorization bypass in Cisco Identity Services Engine allows remote authenticated users to modify file descriptions via crafted HTTP requests. The web-based management interface accepts the request without server-side validation that the read-only Administrator holds permission to change the targeted descriptions. Valid read-only Administrator credentials are required, and the documented effect is limited to descriptions of files on a specific page.
