Browser script execution via unvalidated crafted links
Published Sep 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Cross-site scripting in affected Cisco Unified CM IM&P 12.5, 14, and 15 releases allows remote attackers to execute script via crafted links. The web management interface fails to validate user-supplied input before incorporating it into browser content; Cisco has not disclosed the affected endpoint or parameter. Exploitation requires a user to open the link, after which script runs in the interface context and can read or alter browser-accessible information.
