Authenticated script execution via reflected interface input
Published Nov 5, 2025 · Updated Nov 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in Cisco Identity Services Engine allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in an interface user's browser. Specific management-interface pages reflect insufficiently validated user-supplied input into responses, causing a viewer's browser to interpret injected code as script. A low-privileged device account and user interaction are required; exploitation exposes browser-based information and permits actions in that interface context.
