Arbitrary file read via crafted HTTP requests
Published Aug 20, 2025 · Updated Aug 20, 2025
Path traversal in Cisco Evolved Programmable Network Manager and Prime Infrastructure allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files. The web-based management interface insufficiently validates path or filename input in specific HTTP requests before accessing the underlying file system. Low-privileged credentials and network access to the management interface are required, and exploitation discloses sensitive file contents without reported write or service-interruption effects.
