CVE-2025-20264Network attack vector

Authenticated settings modification via SAML authorization bypass

Published Jun 25, 2025 · Updated Jun 26, 2025

Improper authorization in the web interface of Cisco Identity Services Engine allows remote authenticated users to modify system settings. The interface fails to enforce authorization for specific administrative commands issued by accounts created through SAML SSO integration. Exploitation requires an authenticated SAML-created account and can change limited settings, including settings that restart the system and interrupt authentication on a single-node deployment.
