Path traversal in Cisco ThousandEyes Endpoint Agent for Windows before 2.3.3 allows local users to delete arbitrary files during upgrades. The Windows updater follows an attacker-created symbolic link during an agent upgrade and redirects its protected-file deletion operation to the link target. Exploitation requires authenticated local access and an upgrade event; successful exploitation deletes the chosen file and can disrupt the device.
