Unauthenticated earnings-report disclosure via missing capability check
Published Mar 15, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in GiveWP 3.22.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive earnings reports through a public request. The give_reports_earnings() handler returns earnings-report data without checking a WordPress capability before processing the request. No account is required, and successful access exposes report contents without granting data-modification or service-disruption capabilities.
