Traffic-filter bypass in Cisco IOS XE SD-WAN Software allows remote attackers to inject crafted packets past Layer 3 and Layer 4 filters. The packet-filtering path mishandles crafted packets when SNMP is enabled on an SD-WAN tunnel interface, allowing them past both filter layers. Exposure requires a cEdge router in Controller mode with SNMP enabled on an SD-WAN tunnel interface; Cisco reports confidentiality impact only.
