CVE-2025-20207Network attack vector

Authenticated OS disclosure via crafted SNMP polling

Published Feb 5, 2025 · Updated Feb 5, 2025

SNMP information disclosure in Cisco email and web security appliances allows remote authenticated users to read restricted operating-system data. The appliances return confidential data at rest when processing a crafted SNMP poll request instead of restricting the response. SNMP must be enabled, which is not the default, and valid configured SNMP credentials are required; successful polling does not alter data or interrupt service.
