Denial of service via DHCP queue wedge

Denial of service in Cisco IOS XE Software allows remote attackers to wedge interface queues with crafted DHCP request packets. The DHCP snooping path improperly holds unicast or broadcast requests received on a VLAN without snooping when snooping is enabled on another VLAN, allowing the input queue to exceed its maximum. Exposure is limited to specified router and edge-platform families, and a successful attack interrupts downstream traffic until a restart drains the queue.
