File read and SSRF via document HTML injection
Published Aug 14, 2025 · Updated Aug 14, 2025
HTML injection in Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center Software allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files and initiate SSRF. The web management interface fails to validate user-supplied content before embedding it in a device-generated document containing sensitive information. A Security Analyst (Read Only) account or higher is required; exploitation can also alter the generated document's standard layout.
