Arbitrary file upload in Cisco Identity Services Engine through 3.3 Patch 2 allows remote authenticated users to write files via its API. The file copy function improperly validates a crafted upload request sent to a specific API endpoint, permitting arbitrary file placement on the device. Administrative privileges are required, and the documented impact is confined to file upload without reported code execution or service interruption.
