Incorrect default permissions in Intel oneAPI DPC++/C++ Compiler installers before 2025.1.0 allow local users to escalate privileges. Intel identifies installer default permissions as the locus but does not disclose which files or directories receive permissive access or how they are replaced. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, high complexity, an installation-time condition, and active user interaction; successful abuse compromises host confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
