CVE-2025-20045Network attack vector

Remote TMM termination via SIP traffic

Published Feb 5, 2025 · Updated Feb 5, 2025

NULL pointer dereference in F5 BIG-IP allows remote attackers to terminate TMM through traffic sent to a configured SIP virtual server. F5 has not disclosed which SIP input triggers the null pointer dereference in the Traffic Management Microkernel. Exposure requires Passthru Mode on a SIP session ALG profile, a SIP router ALG profile, and a Message Routing virtual server; termination interrupts traffic processing.
