Incorrect authorization in PAM vaults in Devolutions Server 2024.3.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to add entries at the root. The PAM vault authorization path accepts a root-level add operation without enforcing the configured add-in-root permission; the affected endpoint and code path are undisclosed. A valid account and PAM vault access are required, and exploitation permits unauthorized modification of the vault hierarchy rather than credential disclosure.
