CVE-2025-20026

Wi-Fi service interruption via out-of-bounds read

Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 14, 2025

Out-of-bounds read in Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software before 23.100 allows remote attackers to interrupt Wi-Fi via adjacent access. Intel has not disclosed the affected driver routine, the input that crosses its buffer boundary, or the malformed wireless operation that triggers the read. Exploitation requires proximity to a system using a Wi-Fi 7 BE200, BE201, or BE202 adapter, and the documented consequence is service interruption rather than data disclosure.
