CVE-2025-1998

Authentication-token disclosure via sensitive log entries

Published Mar 27, 2025 · Updated Sep 1, 2025

Sensitive-data exposure in IBM DevOps Deploy 8.0 through 8.0.1.4 and 8.1 allows local users to read authentication tokens from logs. The product writes potentially sensitive authentication-token information into log files, but IBM has not disclosed the responsible logging component or event. A low-privileged local account with log access can obtain those tokens; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
