CVE-2025-1960Network attack vector

Remote command execution via obscured default credentials

Published Mar 12, 2025 · Updated Mar 13, 2025

Insecure defaults in Schneider Electric WebHMI 4.1.0.0 and earlier allow remote attackers to execute unauthorized commands. WebHMI initializes an account with default password credentials but displays its default username incorrectly, obscuring the account that must be secured. Network reachability and unchanged first-use credentials are required; resulting commands can compromise application data and service availability.
